Summary
BarbellKinetics Game does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. Everything stays on your device.
Data Storage
All game data — your athletes, training programs, competition history, and settings — is stored locally on your device using standard iOS storage (Documents directory and UserDefaults). No data is sent to any server.
No Accounts
The app does not require or support user accounts, sign-in, or registration of any kind. Your identity is a randomly generated device identifier stored only on your device.
Multiplayer
Multiplayer competitions use Apple's Multipeer Connectivity framework to communicate directly between nearby devices over WiFi or Bluetooth. This is a peer-to-peer connection — no data passes through any server. The only information exchanged during a competition is:
- Your athlete's name, background, flag, and stats (shared with other players in the same room)
- Your declared weights and competition results
This data is ephemeral — it exists only during the active competition session and is not stored by other devices.
Local Network Access
The app requests Local Network permission to discover and connect with nearby devices for multiplayer. This permission is required by iOS for Multipeer Connectivity. No internet access is used.
Analytics & Tracking
BarbellKinetics Game does not include any analytics SDKs, tracking pixels, advertising identifiers, or third-party code. We do not track your usage, behavior, or any other activity.
Children's Privacy
The app does not collect any data from any user, including children. No personal information is requested or stored.
Changes to This Policy
If we ever change how data is handled, we will update this page. Since the app currently collects no data, any change would involve adding data collection and would require a new version of the app with updated disclosures.
